A FREE Showcase Event which touches on the theme of mental health in young people for parents & teachers

We are all keen to help children understand how to be mentally healthy: “developing pupils’ confidence, resilience and knowledge so that they can keep themselves mentally healthy.” (Young Minds 2019). Those in the best position to do this are parents and teachers.

This evening is for
• Parents of children in any year group who are interested in keeping your child mentally healthy and how to spot the early signs if something is not quite right.

• Teachers and Pastoral Care Leads interested in exploring the ‘Invisible’ packages for their own schools, including those for the students, parents and the staff training options/support available. Note: This evening is not intended for children as it approaches the topics from a parent/adult perspective.

A FREE Showcase Event which touches on the theme of mental health in young people for parents & teachers Following this, there will be an opportunity to discuss the issues raised, and highlight some of the trigger points young people currently face, such as:  • Exam pressures • Friendship issues • Social media and a life online • New experiences • Family life/relationships

Why come along?
For Parents – It’s an evening designed for parents of children in all year groups to help them better understand some of the issues surrounding children’s mental health, especially as their children move through the years from primary up to secondary education and to life beyond post 16. For Leaders/Teachers/Pastoral Care Staff – It’s an introduction to ‘Invisible’ and the various performance and training options available as part of our International Package for both students and teachers.
