About us
our background
N-Act is a not-for-profit touring theatre company who specialise in delivering interactive performances to educational establishments, colleges and the wider community.
Under the leadership of Artistic Director and founder Dr Sharon Williams, the company’s motivation is to use the power of interactive theatre to entertain, to ignite curiosity, provoke thought, and to educate young people to enable them to make informed choices.
Through an interactive approach, the audiences have a greater emotional engagement with the topics and empathy with the characters. All performances have had a notable impact on the audiences, both in terms of the theatrical experience and a continuing dialogue with the audiences.
The N-Act team comprises professional actors and film makers with extensive experience of TV, film, theatre, script writing and backstage production with many successful workshops and performances in the wider community.

Artistic Director
Sharon is the Artistic Director of N-Act. She writes and directs the plays in the N-Act portfolio.
Richard Foster
N-Actor
Richard was one of the original cast of Linked and supports all of the shows as our technical guru!
Alice Ryan
N-Actor
Alice has been with N-Act from the start and has been involved in all of our productions and short films.
Anton Thompson
N-Actor
Anton joined us for our debut of Friend, and has accompanied us to many schools in two sell-out tours
Andie Lindfield
N-Actor
Andie has been with us since 2018, performing in Friend, Invisible, The Lie and Shadow as well as in our short films.
Matt Burcombe
N-Actors
Matt has been with us since 207, performing in Linked, Friend, Invisible, The Lie and Shadow as well as in our short films.
Louis Jay Jordon
N-Actor
Louis, a London-based actor, was in the original cast of Friend in 2018.
John Oakes
N-Actor
John performs with us in Friend. That is when we can get hold of him for long enough!
Stanley Karikari
N-Actor
Stanley is based in London, and joined N-Act for our second tour of Friend in 2018-19.
Johnny Keating
N-Actor
Johnny is one of the cast of Linked. He was also with us on our first tour to Oman.
